Welcome to Baja Deep Camp, an extraordinary freediving experience in the stunning waters of the Sea of Cortez. Join us for a week of training, skill improvement, and personal coaching from the legendary Carlos Coste, a 12-time world champion and 4-time Guinness record holder and the master instructor Petra Oberucova.
Unparalleled Training in Pristine Waters
At Baja Deep Camp, you can train and improve your freediving skills in the beautiful waters of the Sea of Cortez. The visibility is unparalleled at this time of the year, and the water temperature can reach up to 29°C, providing the perfect conditions for deep dives. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced freediver, our tailored sessions will cater to your individual needs and help you reach new depths.
Personal coaching from the Legends
Carlos Coste, a true pioneer of depth and freediving education, will share his abundance of knowledge and experience with you. His unique teaching style focuses on simplicity, personal approach, and enjoyment, ensuring you progress smoothly and successfully through the learning curve. Petra Oberucova, a shark expert, sea life whisperer, and master freediving instructor, will guide you on how to freedive in harmony with the underwater world. Her calming influence helps create a safe and comfortable environment for all participants.
A Small Group Experience
At Baja Deep Camp, we believe in providing a personalized and intimate experience. Our group size is limited to a maximum of 8 students, allowing us to give individual attention to every detail of your training. You'll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for the sea and the sport, forming friendships that will last a lifetime.
Beyond Freediving
Baja Deep Camp is not just about freediving. We offer a holistic approach to your training and well-being. Our program includes yoga sessions, breathwork & equalization workshops, and explorations of the beautiful local places in La Paz. After a day of intense training in the sea, you'll have the chance to unwind and enjoy great food with your fellow freedivers.

MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
Carlos Coste
Freediving legend and 12 x World Record Holder Carlos made history by diving 100m in CWT and FIM in 2003. Apart from his impressive competitive career, Carlos is a great instructor and trainer who loves to teach in an energetic and fun way.
He customizes each course according to his students' needs and abilities, ensuring a successful learning experience.
