Cenotes Deep Camp
YUCATAN, MEXICO
March 1 - 7 Deep Camp
Optional Wave2 Course starting on Feb 28
(combined with the deep camp)
A freediving journey into light, silence, and depth.
In the heart of the Yucatán jungle, the cenotes reveal a world unlike anywhere else: crystal-clear water, calm conditions, and a timeless stillness. These unique environments invite you to slow down, refine your technique, and bring full presence to every dive.
At Cenote Deep Camp, you’ll train with Carlos Coste — 12-time world record holder and mentor to freedivers worldwide — and Petra Oberucova, master instructor known for helping divers feel calm and capable in the water. Together, with a third instructor, we keep the group small, the coaching personal, and the focus entirely on your own journey into depth.
What to Expect
-
Five full training days in cenotes + one active recovery/exploration day
-
Depth range: 15 – 75m

-
Video recording of every session, followed by video analysis and group discussions in the afternoons or evenings
-
Open conversations with Carlos and Petra about technique, freediving life, and competitions
-

Where You’ll Stay
Our base is a traditional hacienda in a small Yucatecan town — quiet, authentic, and steeped in Mayan and Mexican culture. Meals are fresh, local, and healthy, with Yucateco flavors and vegan options. We prioritize local restaurants and ingredients whenever possible to create a genuine cultural experience.
Rooms are shared (separated by men and women), with a limited number of private rooms available for an additional fee. The hacienda is reserved entirely for our group, offering a calm, private space to rest, recover, and connect.
Beyond Freediving
Evenings are relaxed and unhurried. We share meals, stories, and conversations — from freediving to Yucatán culture to Carlos’ experiences in world-class competitions. On the day off, the group decides together: sometimes visiting Mayan ruins, other times exploring nearby cenotes for a playful “exploration mode.”
Our returning students create a strong sense of community, and we welcome you to be part of this growing family. You’ll not only progress in your freediving journey but also connect with like-minded people who share your passion.
